In 2007 she co-founded Alexio Corporation to bring dedicated technology, privacy and security support to dental and clinical practices, and in 2021 she founded Myla to make this education practical and accessible to every person on a dental team.

She has educated more than 50,000 healthcare professionals across North America, published more than 100 articles in outlets including Oral Health and Dental Tribune International, and been featured by CBC, CTV and Global News. Her message is calm and practical: people are the strongest line of defence when they are given the skills to act.
I believe better decisions begin with better evidence.
I’m an evidence-based educator, researcher and consultant who helps healthcare organizations navigate privacy, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence with confidence.
Rather than relying on assumptions, marketing claims or fear, I start with a simple question: what does the evidence actually tell us?
That question has shaped thirty years of work across dentistry, healthcare, technology, privacy, cybersecurity and AI. My work begins with research. I investigate emerging risks, analyze industry trends, and study regulations and recognized standards, then translate those findings into practical frameworks, tools and education that healthcare professionals can actually use.
Whether I’m delivering a keynote, conducting research, developing governance frameworks or advising healthcare leaders, my goal stays the same: help people make better decisions through better evidence.
Today I help healthcare organizations:
• Adopt AI responsibly
• Protect personal and health information
• Reduce cyber risk
• Build confident teams through practical education
• Turn complex regulations into achievable action
I’m the founder and CEO of Myla Training Corp., where we’ve helped more than 50,000 healthcare professionals strengthen their privacy, cybersecurity and AI capabilities through evidence-based learning.
If you’re looking for practical guidance grounded in research rather than hype, I’d love to connect.
Our next speaker has spent thirty years in dentistry, starting chairside as a dental assistant. Today she helps dental and healthcare teams use technology with confidence.
